Just alittle insight of our situation,The IT department at our non-profit organization is a very demanding one. We were running off of cheap workstations and cheap switches/routers for our network, storage, and servers. We eventually purchased a dell PowerEdge and cabled our office space with needed cat5e. The problem now was where too run these cables and where to safely house our PowerEdge? We had a server rack that was rusted and not big enough to hold the PowerEdge. It was a bit frustrating so we just put the server on a table and ran the cabling to a patch panel into a new 48-port switch. After some good searching we agreed on purchasing the Tripp Lite SR4POST25. And let me tell you it is a great little rack. I've been around closed racks all my life and deciding on getting an open one was a bit of a gamble but I am glad we got this. Easy to put together and pretty sturdy as well. The length of it is adjustable so we could properly size it to fit the PowerEdge and switches in a compact space, with comfort. Having it open allows me to work with our various patch panels and PoE's when troubleshooting. For a tight budget, manageability, adjustable length, look no further. Great Rack!Currently in the rack, with plenty of space to spare:1 x 2U 48 Patch Panel2 x 1U Routers1 x 1U Switch1 x 1U Shelf hold various PoE's and ExtendersBottom Shelf to hold APC's
