UPDATE: The "super soft" cord? It will absolutely chafe your neck with much use. It's quite scratchy and irritating, which I wish wasn't the case.First let me say that I *do* like this case, and it absolutely fills the specific need I bought it for. I’d recently upgraded my setup to include magnetic charging cables (the sort that have a little dongle you pop into the charging ports of all your devices thus making one cord work for everything) since I travel a lot, but I needed a case with an open area around the charging port to accommodate the dongle. This is *perfect* for that—with or without the strap and its accompanying removable piece. That said, I found myself really liking having a strap even within the first day of buying it. So, here’s the pros and cons:Pros:1. Attractive.2. Case and strap are sturdy.3. Accommodates awkward charging port accessories.4. The strap is quite long, accommodating to lots of uses and body types.5. Even though I went with black, I like that there are lots of colors.Cons:1. The strap adjusts in a weird way giving you these floppy untied shoelace type bits flapping around your shoulders, which means—2. The strap is quite long, so if you have a smaller body type you’re going to have lots of dangly excess.3. Other reviewers are correct: the removable attachment for the strap is VERY flimsy, and it sees a lot of action. Even just adjusting the strap length, removing the accessory, or pulling some slack into it to access the charging port put a lot of stress on it. I’ve already been brainstorming making a cast of the piece in case I need to replace it which leads into—4. You can’t buy replacement parts. If the accessory piece breaks? You need a new case or must forfeit the strap as an option. For me, I’d still use the case because primarily I needed one with an open bottom, but that’s not going to be true for everyone.5. There are no accessory options. I found myself wishing that you could buy an accessory piece that had a different type of shoulder strap, a wrist strap, or a clip/carabiner accessory to snap it to your bag or something.6. Color options were limiting. I wish there were more monochrome/stone/khaki and other neutral colors for folks that need things for work or to accommodate capsule wardrobes.All in all: the biggest con is that the accessory piece is flimsy and you can’t buy replacements. One day in and I already know it will be a problem. If you’re fine buying an entire case replacement every time it breaks just for the strap bit? Cool. If that’s unrealistic for you, not so cool.
