Update: 12/7/2020: I’ve dropped my phone in this case so many times now that I’ve lost count. Some of the leather has started to come off on little chunks where it’s been dropped which is to be expected. No problems with the button covers getting stuck. My cat has managed to sink her teeth in on numerous occasions on the same corner which now looks really bad, but I can’t blame the manufacturer for it.. just understand it’s not cat proof. My index finger usually rests right on the lip of the lower card holder and Just recently the lip has started to fold outward in that spot. But the card holder still hold my cards tightly. Honestly with as nice as this leather is, you could probably expect about a year and a half to two years use out of it before it’s a little too beat up. I’m trying to buy another one soon for my iPhone 12 Pro Max but they don’t have one made yet which is really bumming me out.Update 1/22/2020:So after several months of using, I’m still quite impressed with the case. I’m dropping one star though because the leather is just a bit too soft. One drop and the surface of the case is shredded. Also my cat sometimes gets a hold of my phone and one bite and the case looks like it’s gone through a paper shredder. The bottom layer of leather is still in tact though so it’s not too unsightly. That being said I’d still highly recommend and I’ve put this case through the ringer!I am extremely impressed with this case.First off, I didn’t realize it was made entirely of leather. I thought it was a rubber case with leather around it. This looks and feels amazing!The leather is definitely quality and genuine as you can smell it when opening the packaging but doesn’t carry any chemical smell often found with cheap leathers.I was a little concerned about the buttons when reading the description but they actually are very smooth and responsive.To top it all off, the product packaging was above and beyond my expectations for a cell phone case. The box was very sturdy construction (seems like balsa wood?) and nice print. You open it to a sample leather piece with a logo on it and a thank you / instructions card. Then you get to the actual case that is snuggly fit between cushion foam. I thought I was opening a a fine piece of jewelry!The card holders are well sized and were stiff at first use but they broke in fairly quickly and now hold the cards perfectly so they are easy to take out. I just inserted them over and over for a few minutes and wiggles them around a bit as well.If I had to complain about one thing it’s that the color was slightly darker than the picture. But that’s not even a complaint because it’s to be expected with genuine leather products and I suspect it will lighten up overtime. It’s still a beautiful color in the mean time.Literally had to run to give this a review because it blew away my expectations. At the price point this is a steal.Of course the real test is durability. I’ll update the review if anything negative comes up but I don’t expect it to.
