I got these yesterday and I really do like them. I do have to preface this review with the fact that I have put off buying any edition of the Wave Inspire series past the 10, as I found those the most comfortable shoes that I owned over the years. I was hesitant to try the 13s with no review but the 10s were no longer cost effective, the 11s I read were terrible and I wasn't entirely sold on the reviews/mods for the 12s... so here I am with the 13s! They are a bit more supportive than the previous version of Inspires I was running in (the 10) and I do think that the modifications/changes they've made since the 10 came out have been good. I will say that I am not a fan of whatever the crinkly sounding stuff in the toebox of the shoe is. At first I thought it was paper that I didn't remove from the packaging, but I quickly found out that was not the case!I've only run 5k in these so far but they were comfortable and fit just as I expected them to fit. When I get a chance to run a bit more and see how they break in/wear I will certainly update my review to reflect any discomfort or issues I have with them. Overall though, the 5k that I ran in them felt good. I felt that there was a bit more "spring" to these shoes than my 10s, which was nice considering one of my biggest issues with my 10s was the feeling of slamming on the pavement every time my feet hit the ground. My other pair of running shoes (mostly for treadmill running) is a pair of Brooks Adrenaline GTS, which I always loved for their spring/cushiony feel. Mizunos were always very lackluster in that category, but I do think that the Inspire 13s are a move in a positive direction.I plan on finishing my training for my next half marathon in these, so I am hoping to have a more well-rounded update to this review in the near future. My quick test run of them yesterday was positive and I plan on going for a longer run tomorrow to test out the shoes further. Hopefully in a week or two I can update with my experience. But even based on my limited time with them so far, I really do like them and I think they are a decent/up to par replacement for my 10s (which I adored and will miss a lot.)(aesthetics side note: the blue/pink combo is WAAAAY brighter than the pictures show. Totally not a bad thing, I was actually more impressed with the shoe when I got it than I was when I purchased it based on the pictures. If there is one thing I can always count on, it's Mizuno making sexy running shoes, haha)So far I used this shoes 4 times this week for my marathon training. I have ran the longest run are 12miles and 8 miles on the road. This shoes seem to do the work but they seems to have less support than the version 10 that I got. It is not the most perfect shoes for long distance runners but with the price I paid (these shoes come with different prices depends on the colors, I got it really good price), I'm satisfied.SIZE: This shoes come in true size, as usual I always get a 1/2 size larger for all of my running shoes so it can give me more rooms without having pains after my long run (I wear size 6 for regular sneakers and got 6.5 for my running shoes).COLORS: As for as the color, I got Blue Radiance/Blueprint/Fiery Coral and I like the color. It very bright color which is good for runners because if I run on the road, I want the drivers to see me.WEIGHT: This shoes is not consider as light weight. It’s ok in my opinion and it not as heavy as the Asics Gel shoes eitherFirst time wearing the Mizuno running shoe. Color is bright & beautiful!!! Blue is definitely bright blue...& the pink is very bright pink! For me, the shoe runs just a bit big, especially in the toe box. I normally wear a 6.5m in a run shoe, so that's what I ordered. They fit a little bigger than my ASICS, Saucony run shoes I normally wear. I liked these shoes well enough, that I am keeping them, and also ordering a size 6m. The heel is a bit higher & thicker than my other shoes, but very comfortable, and great heel strike support! (If you wear them for walking only, these provide extra stability, comfort, and cushioning for your heels.) I am 5'2, 105 lbs, & the shoe does not feel heavy on my foot. I have run between 3-6 miles in them so far, and have had no issues with wearing them.I plan to wear them in my next half marathon. LOVE the color, and looks AWESOME on my feet! I have gotten several compliments on them.Purchased these shoe in 2019 and been using it almost everyday. After breaking them in (walking for a week), ran/jog in them. Great support and stability for my flat overproned wide feet. The shoes weigh a bit heavy but its understandable. I noticed most of the stabilty shoes in the market weighs a bit heavy for overpronation feet. I exercised in them for a year now, the stitchings in the front wore out...wish they werent so pricey, but quality is pretty goodThis is my 3rd pair of stability shoes from Mizuno, but first of the Inspire line. First of all, love the color. It was my first pair of stability shoes from Mizuno that weren't white... yay! I wear a 10.5 usually, but I always get my running shoes a half size up and these are perfect. Very stable for my over-pronation, but not so much that I feel that they are overcompensating in the other direction. Not too snug in the toebox and they grip my heel just right. I think my only complaint is I wish they had a little more squish on landing. It's probably a stability shoe thing as I feel most stability shoes are firmer, but I would love to see a touch more cushioning in the heel. I wear an insole for that since the shoe doesn't provide it. Other than that, these shoes are light, comfortable and supportive.I love these shoes! I knew the right size because I bought Mizuno shoes like this 6 years ago. My 6 year old Mizno shoes were still good, but they were a little tattered, so I decided I needed new ones and ordered these from Amazon.I put them on, out of the box, and it was INSTANT COMFORT! This style has great support and yet the shoes are lightweight! It's like walking on clouds. No rubbing or pinching. I took and 8.5 size. Usually, I wear a 7.5, but they run small. Also, I chose "B" because my feet are wider. D would have been too big. Amazon recommended 8.5 B and that's what I bought. Finally, I love the colors: turquoise and pink. These shoes have added to my quality of life. I joyfully spring out of the house to do my daily walks. My health is going to improve so much! I'm excited!Love these shoes,,,,comfortable, breathable and eye catching.....I ve got many compliments on them but thats important only to my vanity. The major point is that after a 12hour shift my feet are not so tired and I dont have the feeling that Ive been keeping them in an oven.Loved the color. Comfy shoes and great quality! Delivery super quickMy daughter really likes these. Provide excellent support. No blisters. All good. After too much saucony, I've finally gone back to Mizuno. Good for flat feet, lots of support and reasonably lightweight.un peu raide
